Preparing to Report Costs of the General Election
With the general election coming up very quickly, clerks will want to be as prepared as possible. The state will require clerks to report costs associated with holding the election on Form GAB-192. Click the button below to see the Form.
We strongly suggest that you set up sub-accounts to track those costs now so that when you need to complete the form the details are at your fingertips.

Also, if you have not already set up your election workers as employees, you should set them up as separate employees even if the individuals are already on the town's payroll because Election wages need to be tracked separately and are exempt from Social Security and Medicare withholding.

If you need help with any of this, now would be a good time to reach out for assistance.
